General registration opens Tuesday June 20th @ 7PM.

Do not have two people register the same child or your registration for BOTH will be canceled, and they will not be able to participate. Please just use one computer, or one phone.

When you register online, you will get a confirmation email that we have received your "Registration Request". We are only able to accept a certain number of youth and teens in each group.

You will get a Welcome Email from Elizabeth at ESCAPE by Friday, June 23 - confirming that your child/teen will be in our show. We want to be fair to all boys and girls, siblings, and age groups. We will certainly do our BEST to make it work for all kids that want to join the cast, and be in The Wizard of Oz. But...you are not confirmed to be in the cast until you receive the "Welcome to The Wizard of Oz" email with all the details.

If you don't get an email on Friday, June 23, you are on the waitlist. Be patient, as things ALWAYS change over the summer.

Registration is $375. (VIP sponsors pay $338.)

Call the office to pay with credit card July 10-21, or drop a check off at our studio during those 12 days as well. If payment is not received by Friday July 21 at 5 pm then your spot will be canceled and replaced by someone on the waitlist.

Please be aware - there will be no reminders.

Paperwork night will be after the summer break, on Wed, September 6 between 6:00 -8:30 pm. Stop by for 10-15 min at the most to drop off all paperwork, and receive a Rehearsal Schedule, and All Possible Dates for the production. All paperwork will be on the website by Friday, September 1.

Ensemble rehearsal for ALL is Monday evenings and leads work on Wednesday evenings.

Monday Schedule for ALL kids:

  • A group (1-3rd grade)- 5:20-6:30
  • B group (4-6th grade)- 6:20-7:30
  • C group (7-9th grade)- 7:20-8:30
  • D group (10-12th grade)- 8:20-9:45

The first rehearsal is Monday, September 11th.

ESCAPE Theatre

ESCAPE Theatre started back in 2002, and has been flourishing throughout the SCV. Each year we produce two or three musicals, master classes, and numerous summer camp opportunities. When your child registers with ESCAPE, they are assured a role in the ensemble, as well as the opportunity to audition for a lead role if they are interested. This environment is designed to teach youth and teens about teamwork, as well as singing, dancing, and acting skills. During the four and a half months of instruction, each cast-member learns many different songs, dance steps & technique, vocal projection & technique, and the JOY of performing in musical theatre. The kids are given an amazing opportunity to perform in front of large audiences with beautiful sets, costumes, and a full orchestra. ESCAPE provides youth and teens with a setting that enhances their self-esteem and creativity, and develops self-discipline in a supportive and FUN environment.
